About Me

Hi!

My name is Keyaira Conway. I am a disabled Metis woman. I use she/her pronouns. I was born and raised in Terrace, B.C. on the traditional territories of the Tsimshian people. I am currently living and learning on the traditional territories of the WSÁNEĆ, lək̓ʷəŋən, and Wyomilth peoples as I study Elementary Education at the University of Victoria.

I am passionate about social justice / advocacy, equitable education, and literacy. I love singing, party planning, gift giving, baking, foraging, art, and the rain.

I spend most of my time with my wonderful friends that I have made in our Indigenous Living Learning community. It has been such a joy living together and enjoying the domesticity of doing laundry and cooking and watching movies. I am excited to use this blog to document my baking process, which I am sure my friends will be thrilled to benefit from. Free snacks for all.
